Allied Health
McCall Services’ Allied Health provides a variety of trained practitioners that will aid in identifying and assessing issues, and providing the necessary treatment options, including supporting the acquisition of skills, recovery and reablement. We understand the innate significance of Allied Health services, particularly within the NDIS framework, and its integral role in addressing hinderances which may impede upon a person’s independence or quality of life.
In May 2023, McCall Community Services acquired Shine Early Intervention, an early childhood intervention service originally founded in 2011, which was McCall’s introduction as a provider in the allied health sphere. This service has been rebranded under McCall Allied Health.
McCall acknowledges that Allied Health services can not be solely delivered in an in-clinic setting; therefore, several services are also available through community visits.

Our Allied Health services include:

Speech Pathology
Speech Pathologists help people of all ages strengthen their communication skills and overcome challenges with speech, language, and swallowing. We assess, treat, and support individuals with speech sound disorders, fluency difficulties, voice conditions, social communication challenges, and swallowing disorders. While creating a lasting impact on your physical health to promote maintaining independence and overall mental and physical well-being.

Physiotherapy
Physiotherapists specialise in assessing, diagnosing, treating and preventing further injuries. They identify and understand how an individual’s health condition or injury affects their ability to perform daily activities. This expertise means they can work across a broad range of health conditions and populations. They implement management strategies to correct and manage physical impairments.

Early Intervention
Early Childhood Intervention involves specialised support for a child’s individual needs when there is delay in key stages of development. Our experienced and skilled team can support children and their families when a child is displaying difficulty in performing important everyday activities and achieving key developmental milestones.
