Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy, often referred to simply as OT, is a branch of health care that helps people of all ages who have physical, sensory, or cognitive hinderances.

McCall’s Occupational Therapy, previously known under Shine Early Intervention, provides individuals with developmental delays or disabilities, and their families, a structural foundation that fosters independence and encourages the development of their abilities.

Supporting Independence & Everyday Skills

Our skilled Occupational Therapists understand the diverse needs of people with disabilities and provide caring, practical support. We work closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a well-rounded support system. OT sessions are interactive, hands-on, and designed to be engaging, making skill development fun and effective.

Meet Aivine

Aivine De Lara is a dedicated occupational therapist passionate about supporting people to live more independent and fulfilling lives. At McCall, Aivine works closely with individuals, families, and multidisciplinary teams to design tailored interventions that promote participation, independence, and well-being across all areas of daily life.

With expertise in functional capacity assessments, assistive technology, minor home modifications, and life skills coaching, Aivine brings a holistic, client-centred approach to every interaction. She has a special interest in supporting people with developmental delays, neurological conditions, physical dysfunction, and psychosocial disabilities, particularly those aged 9 and above.

Aivine is also experienced in conducting home and living assessments, delivering training to caregivers and support workers, and promoting community integration for older adults and people with disability. Her collaborative style ensures clients receive personalised, effective supports that align with their goals and environments—whether at home, school, or in the wider community.

She chose a career in occupational therapy to combine her love of creativity, empathy, and problem-solving to help people overcome challenges and achieve meaningful milestones. For Aivine, every client success—whether big or small—is a proud and rewarding moment.

Joining McCall, Aivine is most excited to contribute to a values-driven team that shares her commitment to high-quality, client-centred care. She’s looking forward to learning from others, sharing her skills, and continuing to make a positive impact through her work.

Meet Jasmine

Jasmine Kadioglu is a passionate occupational therapist dedicated to helping young children achieve their full potential. Since joining McCall a year ago, Jasmine has been a valued part of the team, bringing energy, empathy, and creativity to every session.

Her role involves working closely with children and their families to support skill development and independence across everyday activities. With a particular love for teaching self-care skills, Jasmine is committed to empowering children to take on new challenges with confidence and pride.

Jasmine chose occupational therapy to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. She thrives on the variety the role brings—no two days are ever the same—and she enjoys finding unique, practical ways to support each child’s individual journey.

The best part of working at McCall, Jasmine says, is the supportive team culture, flexible working environment, and the shared commitment to delivering genuine, family-centred care. She’s proud to be part of an organisation that truly values both its team and the families it serves.

One of Jasmine’s greatest career highlights has been celebrating the wins—both big and small—with her clients. From first steps in independence to major goal achievements, she finds joy in seeing her young clients grow, learn, and thrive.

Meet Clarice

Clarice brings over six years of experience in OT, spanning pediatrics’, adult, and elderly care. She is dedicated to maximising her clients’ independence and enhancing their quality of life.

Her decision to become an Occupational Therapist was deeply personal—growing up with family members with cerebral palsy and autism, she saw first-hand the impact of meaningful support. That experience shaped her passion for making a real difference, not just for individuals but for their families as well.

Her expertise includes:

– Home and living assessments & modifications

Clarice was drawn to McCall’s holistic approach, focusing on both clinical therapy and overall well-being.

Meet Stephanie

Stephanie Collins is an experienced occupational therapist with a strong passion for paediatrics and a deep commitment to helping children thrive. With over seven years of experience working in private practice, Stephanie has supported children aged 0–18 across a wide range of diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, global developmental delay, neurodegenerative conditions, and sensory processing challenges.

At McCall, Stephanie partners with children and their families to set meaningful, client-centred goals—working collaboratively to build foundational skills and promote confidence, independence, and wellbeing. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, advocacy, and evidence-based practice, with a focus on individual strengths and family involvement.

Stephanie brings a wealth of experience in parent education, capacity building, emotional regulation, fine and gross motor development, cognitive skills, social skills, and self-care routines. She is also skilled in delivering group programs for school readiness and play-based development, particularly for children with high support needs.

With a strong background in NDIS service delivery, Stephanie regularly conducts assessments and writes reports for funding applications, annual reviews, and diagnostic insights. Her toolkit includes a variety of standardised assessments such as the Vineland-3, Sensory Profile 2, TVPS-4, and M-FUN-PS.

Stephanie chose this career path to make a meaningful impact—believing every child deserves to feel supported, valued, and seen. The relationships she builds with children and families, and the joy of witnessing growth and progress, are what she is most proud of in her career.
